About

New cars, on the record.

The Motor Archive is an independent publication about new cars: what they are, what they cost, and what they look like up close. We cover them from the show floor, the launch stand and the dealer forecourt, with our own photos and video, and we keep it all on the record.

We launched in October 2026 as the written home for Aristotel Cristina’s reporting. The video side is AUTO TV, the YouTube channel she films for, publishing walkarounds since December 2014.

What we cover

  • First Looks: new models seen in person. Design, cabin, tech, and our first impression. These are static first looks, not drive reviews, and we say so.
  • Show Reports: motor shows car by car, with the prices displayed on the stands.
  • Market: what’s arriving in Europe and Switzerland, what it costs (in euros, or CHF for Switzerland), and who sells it.
  • Video: full walkarounds and show tours on AUTO TV, embedded with every story they belong to.

How we work

  • We’re there. Our photos and video are our own, shot on the floor. When we use manufacturer images, we credit them.
  • Specs come from the source. Technical data comes from the manufacturer, and we name it. Prices are list or show prices on the day, in the show’s own market (CHF in Switzerland, euros elsewhere), with the date.
  • Dates are real. Every story carries the date it was published. Archive coverage also says when and where it was filmed.
  • Nobody pays for coverage. Read our Editorial Standards.

Who we are

Aristotel Cristina, Editor. Automotive journalist and videographer. She has attended motor shows since 2020, including 33 in seven countries since 2021: Salonul Auto București (every October since 2021), the Paris Motor Show (2022, 2024, 2026), the Geneva International Motor Show (2024), IAA Mobility in Munich (2023, 2025), Brussels (every January since 2023), Auto Zürich (2024, 2025), the Warsaw Motor Show (2023 to 2026), and regional shows in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Her walkarounds appear on AUTO TV, a YouTube channel with more than 55,000 subscribers and 43 million views since 2014.

Every show we write about is backed by her own footage: dated, on the record and published on AUTO TV.
