This page explains what data themotorarchive.com handles when you read it or contact us. We keep it to the minimum the site needs to work.
Who is responsible
The Motor Archive, edited by Aristotel Cristina. For any privacy question or request, write to us through the contact page.
Reading the site
- Hosting: the site runs on servers of Exim Host (Romania, EU). Like every web server, it records technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
- Cloudflare: traffic passes through Cloudflare, which protects the site and delivers it faster. Cloudflare processes your IP address for that purpose.
- No tracking: we don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google.
- Comments are switched off, so we don’t collect comment data.
Embedded videos
Our articles embed videos from our YouTube channel, AUTO TV. When you play one, YouTube (Google) loads the video and may set cookies and process your data under its own privacy policy.
Contacting us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, store them in the site’s database, and use them only to answer you. We delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Contact us through the contact page and we will reply promptly.
