Peugeot revived the RCZ and the 205 T16 as electric concepts, smart brought back the two-seater from €19,990 and about 20 Chinese brands filled the halls. These are the 15 cars we filmed at the 2026 Mondial de l'Auto, updated through show week.
About 20 Chinese and Chinese-owned brands came to the Mondial, roughly double 2024. Here is what each one brought, and which of them are heading to Switzerland.
A glass roof from nose to tail, a solid-state battery and a steering wheel that turns slightly under once lock to lock. That wheel and its steer-by-wire reach production from 2027.
Three motors, 2.5 seconds to 100 km/h and a rear body that tilts open like the rally car's did. Under the show is the clearest preview yet of the next E-208.
The production Vision 7S is 4.87 metres long, comes with seven seats as standard in France and costs €56,460 to €66,420 there. Orders are open, with the first cars due at French dealers from October.
Swivelling seats, a fridge in the console and a screen the width of the car, in a tribute to the 1984 Espace. The concept stays a concept, but its screen goes into Renault's next Rafale and Scenic.
Paris shows an engineering prototype that Renault says closely resembles the production car, with two rear in-wheel motors and 0–100 km/h in under 3.5 seconds. Deliveries start in 2027.
Pop-up headlights, a see-through wing and wheels shaped like the "A" in Alpine. The A310 VISION marks 55 years of the A310 and shows what Alpine's new platform could make possible.
Round headlamps, a roll-back roof, egg-holder door pockets and a tortoise-and-hare pedal. Citroën's reborn 2 CV is a concept, but the production car is promised within two years.
2.75 metres long, electric and rear-wheel drive, with a split tailgate that folds into a seat. Orders are open across Europe, and French prices run from €19,990 to €25,690.
Volvo's electric XC60 rival is already on European roads, and in Paris it stood next to the new Cross Country. In France the EX60 costs €66,500 to €82,400, and the Cross Country can be ordered now from €72,500.
The Grizzly takes FIAT back into the C segment and heads to Auto Zürich for its Swiss debut. Next to it in Paris stood the Multiplay, a 4.45-metre concept that's an MPV, an SUV and a pick-up in one.
