The Dacia Bigster gives buyers up to 667 litres of boot in a 4.57-metre body, and its Austrian price started at €23,990. That is the whole pitch, and it is why the walkaround sets it against bigger names.
We filmed it at MotionExpo Graz and photographed it on Sunday, 16 March 2025. The black car stood behind a rope with copper-coloured inserts in its lower grille, a Vogl+co, Graz Zentrum plate and a Renault 4 E-Tech banner nearby.
Renault Austria had opened orders on 9 January 2025 and promised dealer deliveries for spring, so the Bigster had been orderable for two months.
More Space Than A Qashqai Or A Sportage
The AUTO TV walkaround puts the Bigster at 4.57 metres, and Autorevue also gives 4,570 mm. It sets the car against the Nissan Qashqai and the Kia Sportage and says it offers substantially more space for less money.
The boot backs that up, with up to 667 litres (VDA) according to Dacia Austria. The walkaround adds that levers in the boot fold the rear seats.

Three Engines, One Of Them A Full Hybrid
Renault Austria’s release lists three engines. The TCe 140 is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The TCe 130 4×4 is a mild hybrid with all-wheel drive and a six-speed manual, offered in Expression and Extreme.
The Hybrid 155 is an automatic full hybrid, offered in all three trims. The walkaround calls it the most powerful Dacia yet, and Dacia Austria lists 155 PS.
An Ordinary Cabin, On Purpose
The walkaround’s point is how ordinary the cabin is. It lists a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a digital driver’s display, and it notes that the climate controls are physical buttons. It also describes the YouClip system, with mounting points for a dash cup holder, a bag hook or a tablet mount.
By the video’s count, the Expression has dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera and 17-inch alloys. Journey adds 19-inch wheels, a powered tailgate and heated seats. Extreme adds washable seat covers and roof bars.
The cabin’s weak spot is its plastics. The walkaround calls them hard, though well textured and made to withstand family life.
From €23,990 At Launch, €24,790 On The Page Today
At launch, Renault Austria’s release of 9 January 2025 gave “ab € 23.990”. It named €27,990 as the price of the full-hybrid version and called that the cheapest C-SUV with a full hybrid.
On 21 May 2025, ÖAMTC wrote that all-wheel drive starts at €28,590 and that the price list ends at €30,590 for the top model. So the launch range ran from €23,990 to €30,590.
Today, Dacia Austria’s page, opened on 15 October 2026, shows the Bigster Expression Mild Hybrid 140 at “ab € 24.790”. That is a list price without promotions, plus up to €300 for delivery.

Our Take
The AUTO TV walkaround argues that the Bigster gives families what they need, which is space, practicality and value, and calls it a challenge to established players.
The figures behind that hold up. A 667-litre boot and a 4.57-metre body made a strong case at €23,990, and the launch range topped out at €30,590.
The strongest claim belongs to the Hybrid 155. At its €27,990 launch price, Renault Austria called it the cheapest C-SUV with a full hybrid.
