KGM Actyon First Look: A 163 PS 4×4 Coupé SUV From CHF 44,490

We filmed the black four-wheel-drive Actyon on Tanguy's stand in Martigny. In Switzerland the range runs from CHF 42,490 for the front-drive hybrid to CHF 47,490.

KGM, the former SsangYong, sells the Actyon in Switzerland as a 4,740 mm coupé SUV with four-wheel drive and 163 PS, from CHF 44,490. A front-drive hybrid opens the range at CHF 42,490.

We filmed the black four-wheel-drive petrol at Passion Auto Show Martigny 2026, which ran from 27 to 29 March. Our photograph from 29 March shows it on the Tanguy stand, with an “ACTYON” plate and a white Honda beside it.

A SsangYong With A New Name

KGM is KG Mobility, the South Korean maker formerly known as SsangYong. The Actyon is its coupé SUV, in a second generation that Wikipedia says was introduced in July 2024.

In Switzerland it comes as a front-drive hybrid or a four-wheel-drive petrol, each in Platinum or Titanium trim. KGM Switzerland’s MY26 list, in force from 1 January 2026, gives the 4×4 a 1.5 T-GDi engine with 120 kW (163 PS) and 280 Nm, and a six-speed automatic.

Bigger In Person, Says The Video

The AUTO TV walkaround presents the Actyon as KGM’s clearest statement that it builds cars nobody expects. It says the black metallic car looks more imposing in person than in photographs. It picks out narrow daytime lights over a thin grille and steeply raked rear glass.

On 20-inch wheels, the video says, the silhouette invites comparison with the Range Rover Velar. It calls the cabin better than a brand still rebuilding its identity needs, with Nappa leather, carbon-fibre trim, a wood inlay, a crystal-style gear selector and red stitching.

Its equipment list runs on to heated and ventilated front seats, a heated wheel, wireless charging, USB-C ports for the back row and an internal boot release for in-car camping.

The Kit Points To Titanium

On KGM’s Swiss list, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated wheel and 20-inch wheels come with both trims. Wireless charging and the kick-operated tailgate appear only on Titanium, so the car in the video may be a Titanium. The card behind its windscreen is unreadable, so the trim stays unconfirmed.

The Swiss list gives the boot 478 litres at minimum and 1,440 litres at maximum (VDA).

CHF 42,490 To CHF 47,490

KGM Switzerland’s MY26 list, valid from 1 January 2026, gives recommended prices including 8.1 per cent VAT. The 1.5 T-GDi Hybrid 2WD costs CHF 42,490 in Platinum and CHF 45,490 in Titanium.

The 1.5 T-GDi 4WD costs CHF 44,490 in Platinum and CHF 47,490 in Titanium. Metallic paint such as Space Black adds CHF 800.

The MY27 list, valid from 1 July 2026, shows the same four prices. On 15 October 2026 kgm.ch shows the Actyon from CHF 42,490, which is the front-drive hybrid in Platinum.

Four-Wheel Drive Costs Fuel

The four-wheel-drive petrol uses 9.0 litres per 100 km (WLTP) on the MY26 list, with 205 g/km of CO2 and efficiency category G. The front-drive hybrid is rated at 6.1 litres and category E.

The Video’s Numbers, Checked

The video quotes KGM Switzerland’s dimensions and engine in inches, hp and lb-ft, and they match the metric figures above. Its boot figures, in cubic feet, do not match the Swiss list, so this article uses KGM’s litres.

Before You Sign

Ask a dealer for a written price on the 4×4 petrol, because the “from” price on kgm.ch belongs to the hybrid. Our KGM report from four shows follows what the dealers asked for the Actyon and its stablemates.

Our Take

The AUTO TV walkaround’s verdict is that the Actyon is difficult to fault on a showroom floor. It credits a distinctive design, an interior better than it needs to be, and space that makes established rivals look as if they charge more for less. It leaves open whether that is enough to close KGM’s gap in brand recognition.

On KGM’s own list, the 4×4 petrol costs more than the hybrid and uses more fuel. So it is the Actyon for buyers who need four-wheel drive, and the hybrid is the one to price first.
