Audi has stopped building the Q2 and named no direct successor, so the SQ2 on the Autocorner stand in Martigny is a car with a closing window. It puts 300 PS into the compact Q2 body, and Switzerland gets it in one version, at CHF 60,500.
300 PS In A Compact Body
Audi’s media page, archived and marked “until 2026”, lists a 2.0-litre turbo petrol four with 221 kW (300 PS) and 400 Nm. Quattro all-wheel drive takes it from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, and top speed is limited to 250 km/h.
The Swiss price list adds a seven-speed S tronic and rates the engine at 221 kW (301 PS). Two Audi documents disagree by one PS, and we print each as Audi does.
CHF 10,150 For The Extra Power
Audi Switzerland’s list for model year 2026, valid from 23 July 2025, prices the SQ2 TFSI quattro S tronic at CHF 60,500 including 8.1 per cent VAT. AMAG Import AG calls it a recommended price, and the SQ2 is the only version listed.
The dearest Q2 on the same list is the 40 TFSI quattro S tronic in S line, at CHF 50,350 for 190 PS. So the SQ2 asks CHF 10,150 more and delivers 300 PS.
The Blue One On The Ramp
We filmed the SQ2 at Passion Auto Show Martigny 2026, which ran from 27 to 29 March. Our photograph from 27 March shows it on the Autocorner stand, with a red carpet beside it and a silver Q2 on a second ramp.
The nose is black, with a honeycomb grille carrying the S badge, dark intakes and black multi-spoke wheels. The Swiss list fits an 18-inch wheel as standard and offers a black exterior pack with 19-inch wheels. The photograph does not show which this car has.
AUTO TV’s video runs 4 minutes 12 seconds, with music and the channel’s standard sign-off and no spoken commentary. It went up on 17 April 2026 with “LAST production year” and “300 HP” in its title, six days before Audi’s own announcement.
Category G At The Pump
That power costs fuel. Audi Switzerland quotes 8.3 to 8.5 litres per 100 km (WLTP), 188 to 193 g/km of CO2 and efficiency category G.
Dealer Stock Is What Is Left
On 23 April 2026 Audi announced that Q2 production in Ingolstadt ends in April, with A1 production in Martorell ending in parallel. The release names no direct successor. It says the electric A2 e-tron is being prepared for Ingolstadt from autumn 2026.
For the SQ2, that leaves whatever dealers still hold. Autocorner J.C. & C. Oberson SA, the Valais dealer that showed this car, is the place to ask about stock and order deadlines. Our report “Last Call For Audi’s Small Cars” follows the A1 and Q2 to the end.
The CHF 60,500 is the list price as read on 15 October 2026, and AUTO TV’s video description gives the same figure.
Our Take
The SQ2 is the Q2 with its power raised to 300 PS, and Audi’s own list charges CHF 10,150 over the dearest Q2 for it. It comes in one configuration, from a supply Audi has stopped refilling.
