Dacia Striker First Look: Dacia’s New C-Segment Crossover Starts At €23,490 In France

Dacia calls Paris the world premiere of the Striker, a 4.62-metre crossover with hybrid and LPG versions. French prices run to €31,900, and the Swiss market start is planned for early 2027.

The Dacia Striker costs from €23,490 in France, where orders opened on 13 October, the day after the Paris Motor Show’s press day. It is 4.62 m long but no more than 1.53 m tall, it joins the Bigster in the C segment, and French prices run up to €31,900 for the hybrid 4×4.

Dacia’s Bigger Plan For The C Segment

Dacia describes the Striker as a crossover with the dynamics of a saloon, the space of an estate and the toughness of an SUV, and as a companion to the Bigster in the C segment. It matters to the brand’s plan. In March 2026, Dacia said it wanted to lift the C segment from 20% to 33% of its sales by 2030.

Dacia’s 6 October release calls the Paris showing the car’s “première mondiale”, although Dacia had already published the design and main details in a press kit dated 8 July. The Striker is also on the list of new cars for Auto Zürich (5–8 Nov), and it is part of our Paris Motor Show 2026 hub.

A T-Shaped Light At Every Corner

We photographed a blue Striker Hybrid on the evening of press day, 12 October, with a roof box on its roof bars. The face is built around a glossy black grille with a pattern of white squares and the white Dacia Link emblem at the centre. A slim light bar across the headlamp and a vertical strip at the bumper corner form the T-shaped light signature that Dacia says sits at all four corners of the car.

Grey cladding wraps the arches, sills and bumper, the mirror caps are copper-coloured and the wheels are dark multi-spoke alloys. The proportions are what set it apart from an SUV. Dacia gives a height of no more than 1.53 m, against more than 1.60 m for C-segment SUVs, yet ground clearance is 19 cm on the two-wheel-drive versions and 20 cm on the 4×4.

LPG, Hybrid Or 4×4

Dacia lists three electrified powertrains. The mild hybrid-G 140 combines 48-volt hybrid assistance with petrol and LPG, comes with a manual or automatic gearbox and, Dacia says, can cover up to 1,600 km.

The hybrid 155 pairs a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine (109 hp) with two electric motors. Dacia quotes CO2 from 95 g/km, 4.2 l/100 km and up to 80% of town driving in electric mode. The hybrid 150 4×4 adds all-wheel drive.

Dacia puts the starting weight at around 1,400 kg and the boot at up to 600 litres. The plate on our car says Striker Hybrid, so it is one of the two hybrid versions, but it doesn’t tell us which. Dacia is selling the Striker on size and running costs, and its order-opening release gives no acceleration figures.

From €23,490 To €31,900

Dacia’s French price list, published with its 12 October order-opening release, starts at €23,490 for the Essential with the manual mild hybrid-G 140. It tops out at €31,900 for the hybrid 150 4×4 in Extreme or Journey trim. The hybrid 155 costs €28,100 in Expression and €30,100 in Extreme or Journey, and the hybrid 150 4×4 costs €29,900 in Expression.

Orders opened on 13 October for the manual mild hybrid-G 140, the hybrid 155 and the hybrid 150 4×4. The automatic mild hybrid-G 140 (€26,700 in Expression, €28,700 in Extreme or Journey) is listed but not yet orderable. Dacia’s release gives no delivery date.

It is also on show at Auto Zürich 2026, 5–8 November; our Auto Zürich 2026 guide has the details.

Our Take: The Headline Price Buys The LPG Car

Below €25,000, the Striker comes only as the Essential with the manual petrol-and-LPG mild hybrid. The hybrids start at €28,100 (hybrid 155) and €29,900 (hybrid 150 4×4).

The comparison to watch is inside the Expression trim. There, the hybrid 155 costs €1,400 more than the automatic mild hybrid-G 140, a gap its 4.2 l/100 km claim will have to justify once that automatic can be ordered. Swiss buyers can see the car at Auto Zürich before the market start planned for early 2027.
