Auto Zürich 2026 Guide: Three Swiss Premieres, Two F1 Cars And CHF 23 Tickets

Switzerland's biggest car show fills Messe Zürich from 5 to 8 November, with a one-off Pininfarina, a LaFerrari at auction and, by our count, 18 Chinese brands. Here's what's worth seeing, where to find it and how to pay less.

Three brands say Auto Zürich 2026 is where their new cars make their Swiss debut: FIAT with the Grizzly twins, Leapmotor with the B03, and Lynk & Co with a new model. Around them sit a one-off Pininfarina hypercar and two Formula 1 cars. A day ticket costs CHF 23 online.

With the Geneva International Motor Show discontinued, this is now Switzerland’s main car show. Last year’s edition sold 68,053 tickets, a record for the show. The organiser says this year’s halls have been sold out since June.

We covered the 2024 show and Media Day 2025. Every show we have filmed is in our show archive.

FIAT, Leapmotor And Lynk & Co Bring The Swiss Premieres

FIAT Switzerland says the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback will be seen in Switzerland for the first time here. Leapmotor says the same of its compact electric B03. Lynk & Co hasn’t named its new model, but the 07 GT is on the organiser’s novelty list.

The novelty list behind them is long and still growing. It stood at 89 models on 15 October, and the organiser’s 6 October release speaks of more than 100 new models and premieres. Auto Zürich 2026 By The Numbers explains why those counts differ. Nine of those novelties were in Paris this month.

Seen In Paris, Coming To Zürich

We filmed all nine at the Paris Motor Show (all our Paris cars):

  • Škoda Peaq, Škoda’s seven-seat electric flagship → First Look
  • smart #2, the two-seat city car’s comeback → First Look
  • Volvo EX60 and EX60 Cross Country → Up Close
  • Volkswagen ID. Tiguan → First Look
  • FIAT Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, which make their Swiss debut here → First Look
  • Hyundai Tucson, in the new version shown in Paris → Tucson N Line First Look
  • Hyundai IONIQ 3, which Hyundai calls its first electric B-segment car → First Look
  • Dacia Striker, Dacia’s new C-segment crossover → First Look
  • Škoda Epiq, Škoda’s entry-level electric SUV → First Look

Which of them already have a Swiss price, with source and date, is in our Swiss prices table. At the other end of the list sit the cars few visitors will ever see on the road.

Two F1 Cars And A One-Off Pininfarina

The rarest car on the list is the Automobili Pininfarina Battista Novantacinque, a one-off with 1,900 PS, according to the organiser. The Aston Martin Valen is limited to 150 cars, it says. Around them sit the Ferrari Purosangue, the Morgan Supersport 400, the Lotus Eletre X and the Alpine A390 GTS.

The electric Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé has up to 1,169 PS, per the organiser. The Bentley Torcal is Bentley’s first fully electric car.

Formula 1 fans get two cars of their own: Cadillac’s MAC-26, shown alongside the OPTIQ SUV, and Audi’s R26.

Eighteen Chinese Brands, Six Of Them New

By our count, 18 brands on the organiser’s list belong to Chinese groups, up from 12 last year. The six newcomers are BAW, Chery, Farizon, Forthing, Geely and iCaur. So a third of the Chinese contingent is new this year.

Who sells them, who’s coming next and why there are no China tariffs here: Chinese Brands Arriving In Switzerland. The newest arrival has its own story: Geely Arrives In Switzerland. Several of these brands also fight at the cheap end.

The Cheap Seats Start At CHF 16,790

Small electric cars fill the bottom of the list. Look for the Dacia Spring, the Renault Twingo E-Tech electric, the Volkswagen ID. Polo and ID.3 Neo, the Hyundai IONIQ 3, the new Nissan LEAF and PIXO, and the Leapmotor B03.

We found 12 cars on the list with a Swiss from-price under CHF 30,000. The cheapest is the Dacia Spring at CHF 16,790 (Automobil Revue, 8 Sep 2026). → The 12 cheapest we found

Seeing all of it in one day takes a plan.

Start In The Penthouse

  • The Penthouse (Hall 7) is the Chinese-heavy hall. The top floor holds BYD, DENZA, GZ Automobile (Geely), Hedin Distribution (XPENG), Lynk & Co, Maserati and Volvo. That means five of its seven exhibitors sell Chinese brands. Lynk & Co gives its stand as C01.
  • Two brands up there are very new to Swiss buyers. DENZA launched in Switzerland in August, and Geely on 16 September.
  • Hall 6 is for classics and small series. Manufaktur & Classic is here, with Automobili Pininfarina Zurich, Porsche Classic (AMAG First) and Emil Frey Classics among the exhibitors. The Blick Lounge and Broad Arrow Private Sales are here too.
  • The other Chinese brands are spread out. Leapmotor is in Hall 4 and outdoors, JAC and MG Motor Switzerland in Hall 1. Luxi Motors (Chery) is in Hall 3 and outdoors, and Noyo (Voyah and Dongfeng) in Hall 3.
  • Hot Wheels covers accessories, tuning and motorsport. Check this year’s exhibitors on the hall plan on the day.

Book The Test Drives Now

The EV Experience offers free, accompanied test drives, bookable at ev-experience.ch since 1 October. On 15 October the page listed 48 cars (our count). Among them are the Geely E2, Lynk & Co 02, Zeekr 7GT, Hyundai IONIQ 3 N Line, Renault Twingo and Alpine A390 GTS.

Last year visitors took more than 2,300 test drives in 46 cars. Some slots were fully booked before the public days began.

Beyond The Halls: A LaFerrari With No Reserve

The Zurich Auction by Broad Arrow returns on Saturday 7 November at 15:00 at The Dolder Grand, with about 60 collector cars. Top billing goes to a 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari in Bianco Fuji. It’s offered without reserve, with an estimate of CHF 5.5–7.5 million.

The sale itself is private. The preview is free and open to the public at The Dolder Grand (Kurhausstrasse 65), on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 to 18:00, with limited capacity. Last year’s first sale raised over CHF 22 million and sold 87% of its lots.

Our take

Auto Zürich has grown every year we’ve covered it, and its strength is breadth. A one-off Pininfarina hypercar, a Dacia Spring and 18 Chinese brands share the same halls.

The catch is timing. Visitors can see them in Zürich, but they can’t yet compare them on price.

We’ll be covering the show here and on AUTO TV, in the Auto Zürich 2026 section. The thing to watch is how many of the Chinese brands that impressed in Paris turn up with Swiss dealers and Swiss prices to go with their stands.
