Hyundai IONIQ 6 N Line First Look: A Sharper Face For €58,300 In Germany

The N Line and N Line X trims arrived with the updated IONIQ 6 in January 2026. Both use the 84 kWh battery, and the N Line X costs from €62,000.

Hyundai’s updated IONIQ 6 now has an N Line trim, and in Germany it costs from €58,300 (Hyundai Germany, 13 January 2026, via ecomento). That buys the 84 kWh battery, 20-inch wheels and a sportier face, with the same outputs as the other 84 kWh cars.

A Sportier Face On The Same Powertrains

Hyundai adds N Line exterior and interior parts, 20-inch alloy wheels and fabric-and-leather seats with red stitching. Power is 168 kW (229 PS) in rear-wheel drive or 239 kW (325 PS) in all-wheel drive.

The IONIQ 6 N, a separate performance car, stood in Hyundai’s N Zone at the show.

Pixel Strips Up Front, A Ducktail At The Back

We filmed the red N Line at Brussels Motor Show 2026 on the show days, 9 to 13 January, and photographed it on 9 January. The AUTO TV walkaround, published on 18 January, opens with the 0.21 drag figure, which Hyundai’s European page confirms for the car.

At the front the video points to daytime running lights made of four pixel-style LED strips, with the headlamps lower in the bumper. The N Line adds sharper bumpers with silver wing-shaped dividers, black trim running from the side skirts onto the doors, and its own wheels.

At the back, a ducktail moulded into the bodywork replaces the old double spoiler. Inside, the video lists twin 12.3-inch screens, a new three-spoke wheel, a larger climate display, two USB-C ports and metallic pedals on the N Line.

The 680 km Headline Belongs To The 18-Inch Car

Hyundai Europe quotes up to 680 km of WLTP range for the rear-drive 84 kWh car, with 18-inch wheels and digital side mirrors. The N Line has 20-inch wheels, and Hyundai’s page gives it no range of its own. An independent test of the all-wheel-drive N Line (automobile.at, 18 July 2026) lists 570 km.

Charging is quick. The 800-volt system takes the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in 18 minutes at up to 350 kW (Hyundai Europe). The boot holds 401 litres plus a 45-litre front trunk, and automobile.at lists the same for the N Line.

Belgian Debut, European Appearance

Febiac’s news item headlines “IONIQ 6 and IONIQ 6 N make their Belgian debut at the Brussels Motor Show”. Hyundai’s own show page calls the updated IONIQ 6 its “first European motor show appearance” and names the STARIA Electric as its world premiere.

Our Brussels show report records that Febiac’s premiere list files the N Line as a European premiere.

From €45,550 To €65,250 In Germany

Hyundai Germany announced prices on 13 January 2026, during the show. The cheapest 84 kWh car is the Centriq at €55,300 (electrive), so the N Line sits €3,000 above it.

The N Line X adds Bose audio, a head-up display and a 360-degree camera for €62,000 in rear-wheel drive or €65,250 in all-wheel drive (ecomento, quoting Hyundai Germany). The 63 kWh Basis starts at €45,550.

Options come on top, with a glass roof at €700 and the Technik package at €2,600 on the N Line.

Our Take

The AUTO TV walkaround presents the N Line as a sportier look for an efficient electric saloon, and it spends most of its time on the face, the black and silver detailing and the screens. In the video’s reading, the trim gives a sporty edge at a price below a full performance car.

It aims the car at buyers who want Tesla Model 3 technology in a car that looks different. Hyundai’s German list makes the trade plain, because next to the Centriq the N Line keeps the same battery and outputs and charges €3,000 for the look.
