The Alpine A390 GT is a five-seat electric fastback with three motors and 295 kW. In Belgium it starts at €67,500, according to Moniteur Automobile (31 October 2025) and Alpine Belgium (15 October 2026).
Filmed at Brussels Motor Show 2026. We filmed the car on the Alpine stand on the show days, 9 to 13 January 2026, and put the walkaround on AUTO TV on 26 January.
Alpine Counts 295 kW As 400 PS
The video title says 400 HP. Alpine Germany’s price list of 7 November 2025 gives 295 kW and 400 PS, and Alpine Belgium’s page of 15 October 2026 says 295 kW (400 ch).
In mechanical horsepower, 295 kW is about 396. So the 400 on the label is the metric figure, shared between one motor at the front and two at the rear.
The Nose Carries The Design
The AUTO TV walkaround points out slim LED headlights that take their cue from Alpine’s Alpenglow concept. Below them sit small triangular LED elements that Alpine calls cosmic dust. Our photograph shows a thin light strip across the nose and a row of those elements at each lower corner.
The video also lists a bonnet S-duct, flush door handles and a rear window shaped like a helmet visor. It says Alpine calls the shape a sport fastback.
Inside, the video names two 12-inch screens running Google’s software and gear buttons on the raised console, as in the A110. Alpine Germany’s list confirms the screens, Google built-in and the A110-inspired buttons.
The video says adults fit in the rear despite the roofline, and it puts the boot at 532 litres, level with the Porsche Macan Electric. Alpine Germany confirms 532 litres, or 1,643 with the seats folded. Alpine’s media site says the car is built in France, at Dieppe.

Our Alpine report from eight shows follows the range from the A110 to this car, and our A290 Up Close covers its smaller sibling.
Three Motors Add Weight
Alpine Germany’s list puts the GT at 2,124 kg, in a body 4,615 mm long. That mass comes with three motors and an 89 kWh net battery.
The battery charges at up to 150 kW, and the German list gives 15 to 80 per cent in about 29 minutes. Range depends on the source. electrive reports up to 555 km WLTP (28 October 2025), Alpine Germany 551 km, and Alpine Belgium 557 km on the optional 20-inch wheels.
The Same Price In Belgium And Germany
Moniteur Automobile, ten weeks before the show, gave “à partir de 67.500 €” for the GT and “un minimum de 78.000 €” for the GTS. Alpine Belgium’s site on 15 October 2026 shows “prix à partir de 67 500 €” and “prix à partir de 78 000 €”.
So the Belgian range is €67,500 to €78,000 including VAT, at show time and today. Alpine Germany’s lists of 7 November 2025 and 13 July 2026 print the same €67,500 for the GT and €78,000 for the GTS, as recommended prices including VAT and excluding delivery.
For the extra money, the GTS brings 345 kW and 470 PS, 21-inch wheels and 190 kW DC charging on Alpine Germany’s list. Options add to either car, with the 22 kW AC charger at €1,200 and the vehicle-to-load adapter at €400.

Our Take
The AUTO TV walkaround calls the A390 GT dramatic, and pitches it as a family car from a Formula 1 team for buyers who want performance and everyday practicality. It adds that this is the first Alpine with power to all four wheels in 70 years.
The A290 beside it on the stand started at €38,700 on Belgium’s list, so the A390 GT costs €28,800 more. That gap pays for three motors, 295 kW and a 532-litre boot.
