The Peaq is Škoda’s biggest SUV and its new electric flagship, with seven seats as standard in France and up to 647 km of range. Paris is its first big motor-show stage, next to the smaller Epiq. For French buyers it’s close, with orders open and the first cars due at dealers this autumn.

It isn’t new to the world. Škoda revealed it in June, and it has already served as the Tour de France “Red Car”.

The Vision 7S, Made Real

The Peaq is the production version of the Vision 7S concept, built on Volkswagen’s MEB platform in Mladá Boleslav, with five or seven seats.

Škoda calls the look “Modern Solid”. There’s a new T-shaped light signature front and rear, flush door handles (a Škoda first) and a panoramic roof with switchable shading. Inside are a 13.6-inch vertical touchscreen and a Sonos sound system, and front seats with massage and legrests are optional.

935 Litres With Five Seats

At 4,874 mm long with a 2,965 mm wheelbase, it’s big, and the space shows it. The boot holds 935 litres with five seats and 299 litres behind the third row. Fold the seats and it grows to 2,150 litres, plus a 37-litre front boot.

Up To 647 km From The 86 kWh Battery

The rear-drive Peaq 90 goes furthest. The all-wheel-drive 90x gives up some of that range for the quickest 0–100 km/h time.

What It Costs In France

It is also on show at Auto Zürich 2026, 5–8 November; our Auto Zürich 2026 guide has the details.

French prices run from €56,460 to €66,420 across the six versions on Škoda’s price list, the Peaq 90 and 90x in Clever, Sportline and Plus trims. The top Plus trim can’t be ordered yet, so for now the orderable range is €56,460 to €62,610. Seven seats are standard, and the five-seat layout is a no-cost option.

Our Take

In its bronze launch colour, the Peaq looks less like a big Škoda and more like a premium SUV, and visitors were peering into the cabin when we filmed it. For families, the details matter. The seven-seat layout is standard in France, and so is bidirectional charging.

The compromise is choice. The smaller-battery Peaq 60 isn’t on the French price list, so every French Peaq comes with the 86 kWh battery. Watch for the first cars at French dealers this autumn, and for the Peaq at Auto Zürich next month. The rest of Paris is in our Paris Motor Show 2026 hub.
