Kia’s electric cars wear the same seven-year promise on the glass in Thuringia, Styria and Valais. The price cards beside it change at every border. Erfurt showed lease rates with no terms, Graz showed dealer prices with every promotion counted, and in Martigny the EV9 and EV3 had no price on the glass at all.
Kia appears at most of the regional shows we photographed, always through local dealers. They are Auto Möller in Thuringia, Autohaus Robinson and Autozentrum Harb in Styria, and Cristal Garage in Valais.
We filmed the EV9 at Passion Auto Show Martigny 2024. Our Kia EV9 GT-Line First Look has the full story.

The Promise On The Glass
The shared promise is the “7 Jahre Garantie”. Kia Germany describes it as a vehicle warranty of up to 150,000 km, with the high-voltage battery covered for seven years. The stickers say it in the local language: “7 ans de garantie” in Martigny and “7 Jahre Garantie” on the EV2 bonnet in Erfurt.
Prices differ by country, so we keep Swiss francs and euros apart, and euros from Germany apart from euros from Austria.
Germany: Lease Rates Without The Small Print
At Erfurt in January 2026 a light-blue Kia carried the sign “Deutschlandpremiere. Der neue Kia EV2”. Kia unveiled the EV2 in Brussels on 9 January 2026, and Kia Germany’s site now lists it from €26,600, or from €199 a month. electrive reported German orders on 17 March 2026, with up to 317 km of range on the 42.2 kWh battery and 453 km on the 61 kWh one.

On the same stand the EV4 wore “bis zu 625 km, ab € 269,- mtl.” and the EV5 “bis zu 530 km, ab € 469,- mtl.”. This is the weak spot of the German cards. Neither gives a term, mileage or deposit, so a visitor cannot tell what the monthly rate includes.
Kia Germany’s site on 15 October 2026 lists the EV3 from €36,190, the EV4 from €37,590, the EV4 Fastback from €41,490 and the EV5 from €45,990. The GT versions top each line, at €53,990 for the EV3 GT, €57,840 for the EV4 GT and €59,990 for the EV5 GT.
The site shows €249 a month for the EV4 and €269 for the Fastback. We cannot tie the Erfurt card to either, because the card’s terms are not on the glass.
Austria: Every Promotion Counted
At Graz in March 2026 a black EV5 read “ab EUR 42.590,-“. The organiser’s page lists that figure for Autohaus Robinson, “alle Aktionen berücksichtigt”, and €45,590 for Autozentrum Harb. Kia Austria’s site lists the EV5 Air (long range) at €45,590, with up to 530 km.
It lists the EV3 Air (Short Range) at €37,490, less a €4,050 advantage built from a retail bonus and a financing bonus, with up to 605 km. The organiser’s page also lists the Kia PV5 from €35,790 at Robinson, again with all promotions counted. The rest of that show is in our MotionExpo Graz 2026 report.

Switzerland: Service And Test Drives
At Martigny in April 2024 the EV9 at Cristal Garage carried a “7 ans de service inclus” disc beside the seven-year sticker. At the 2025 edition the EV3 wore a card reading “EV Experience 24 heures. Réserver. Tester. Profiter. kia.ch”. Neither car had a price on the glass.

In March 2026 the Kia PV5 stood on the same stand with a round sticker that includes “International”, “2026” and “Kia PV5”. It marks the International Van of the Year award announced in November 2025, which we cover in our check of Martigny’s award stickers.
Kia Switzerland’s price lists, as we read them in earlier research, run from CHF 38,950 to CHF 51,250 for the PV5 and from CHF 36,950 to CHF 58,950 for the EV3 (October 2026).

Our Take
Read across the shows, the range stretches from the EV2 at about €26,600 in Germany to a €59,990 EV5 GT, with the EV9 above both. The dealer’s paper tells us less about the car than about the market. Thuringia gets lease rates with no terms, Styria all-promotions prices, and Valais service and test-drive offers.
If you are shopping, start from the list price and ask the dealer what a card leaves out. That is how we read them too, and where a card is all we have, we say what it does not tell us.
