Mercedes-Benz GLB, CLA And GLC On Four Show Floors: Neuheit Signs And A €7,525 Price Gap

In March 2026 the new electric GLB, CLA and GLC reached Salzburg, Innsbruck, Graz and Martigny, and in Graz a dealer card and the organiser's listing disagreed on the GLB's price.

Mercedes-Benz unveiled the GLB “with EQ technology” in December 2025, and by March it was already on three of the show floors we covered. In Graz, a dealer’s windscreen card and the organiser’s own listing put the GLB 250+ €7,525 apart.

The GLB 250+ has 200 kW, an 85 kWh battery and up to 631 km of WLTP range. Series production began in Kecskemét in January 2026 (electrive, 20 January 2026).

Three Shows, The Same Neuheit Sign

At Salzburg on 6 March a black GLB stood on the Pappas stand beside a “NEUHEIT” floor sign. Georg Pappas Automobil’s sales manager told the Salzburg organiser that “im Fokus steht klar die Elektromobilität”.

At Innsbruck on 12 March a blue one wore “Der neue GLB” lettering. In Graz on 15 March two stood in the Mercedes dealers’ area, a black one with the same “NEUHEIT” sign and a white one at Autozentrum Harb.

Graz: Two GLB Prices, €7,525 Apart

The white GLB at Harb carried a card reading “Der neue GLB 250+ ab 50.365”, with the last characters hidden. The Graz organiser’s own page lists the “Mercedes-Benz GLB 250+ EQ” at Pappas Steiermark from €57,890.

Neither the card nor the page says why the two figures differ, so a buyer has to ask. We have seen the same pattern on other windscreen cards. The organiser’s entry gives the GLB 250+ EQ a WLTP consumption of 16.5 to 18.4 kWh per 100 km, and the GLC 400 4MATIC 17.0 to 19.5 kWh.

The organiser lists the GLC 400 4MATIC with EQ technology as a “Steiermark Premiere” from €72,450, also at Pappas Steiermark, with up to 715 km of range. In our photograph a black GLC wears “Der neue GLC mit EQ Technologie” on its windscreen, with the same “NEUHEIT” sign on the floor.

The label is the organiser’s, and it is a regional one. It says the car is new to Styria, and nothing about Austria as a whole.

At Innsbruck the CLA Shooting Brake, the electric estate, wore “Der neue CLA Shooting Brake” on its door. We did not find an Austrian price for it.

Switzerland: A Car Of The Year Sticker In Martigny

At Martigny on 29 March a pale CLA stood on Carline Automobiles Boisset’s stand with a “Car of the Year 2026” sticker. The European Car of the Year jury named the CLA its 2026 winner, according to the award’s site.

We could not verify a Swiss list price for the electric CLA, so we print none. Swiss dealer listings for new cars vary with equipment, and a list would need Mercedes-Benz Switzerland’s own price sheet.

A year earlier, at Basel in September 2025, a grey GLB at Kestenholz was the outgoing model. Its disc showed CHF 82,104 struck through and “Ihr Vorteilspreis: 68’524 CHF”. Mercedes-Benz unveiled the new electric GLB only in December 2025.

Ask Which Price Is Real

All of these cars arrived in the 2026 show season with “Neuheit” or “neu” beside them. No organiser or dealer called them a premiere, apart from the Graz organiser’s regional “Steiermark Premiere” for the GLC.

We did not check Mercedes’ own press material for the GLC or the CLA Shooting Brake, so we treat “Neuheit” as the dealers’ word and the premiere label as the organiser’s. If you are shopping for a GLB 250+ in Styria, ask Harb and Pappas each for the full price and what is inside it.
