Auto Zürich 2025: 68,053 Tickets, An Aston Martin Vanquish And Swiss Prices From Mazda To MG

The organiser sold its largest audience yet and around 400 accredited media came to Media Day, yet most of the cars on the floor were already on sale or priced.

Auto Zürich 2025 sold exactly 68,053 tickets, the organiser’s largest audience since the show began and up from 64,619 in 2024. Most of the cars on its floor were already on sale. Mazda, smart, Renault and MG all had Swiss price lists before Media Day.

The organiser counted around 400 accredited media at Media Day, against around 200 a year earlier, along with 27 product premieres. It also counted around 70 brands and over 80 new products, the same two figures it gave for 2024.

Its EV Experience logged over 2,300 test drives with 46 vehicles, 40% more than in 2024. Other outlets count differently. Autosprint, AGVS and HORIZONT wrote of 180 exhibitors, and Automobil Revue of nearly 50 Swiss premieres among almost 80 new models. We use the organiser’s figures and attribute the rest.

Aston Martin’s V12 Vanquish

The dark green Vanquish on the Aston Martin Zürich stand is the brand’s V12 flagship. Aston Martin quotes a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 with 835 PS and 1,000 Nm, and a top speed of 345 km/h.

The Vanquish was introduced on 2 September 2024. We also filmed the DB12 at the show, which Aston Martin launched in May 2023 with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 of 680 PS.

Mazda 6e, From CHF 43,600

Mazda premiered the 6e at the Brussels Motor Show on 10 January 2025, and it was developed with Changan. Blick reported on 16 July 2025 that Swiss sales would start that September.

Mazda Switzerland’s September 2025 price list runs from CHF 43,600 to CHF 47,200 across four versions. The choice is a 68.8 kWh battery (190 kW, 479 km WLTP) or an 80 kWh battery (180 kW, 552 km WLTP).

The smart #5, Up To 646 PS

The smart #5 is 4,695 mm long on a 2,900 mm wheelbase, with a 100 kWh gross battery and DC charging up to 400 kW. The rear-wheel-drive versions have 267 kW (363 PS) and 590 km of range.

The all-wheel-drive Premium has 432 kW (588 PS) and 540 km, and the BRABUS 475 kW (646 PS) (smart Switzerland). Blick reported Swiss prices from CHF 44,500 for the Pro to CHF 55,500 for the Summit at launch (25 March 2025).

Renault 4 E-Tech, From CHF 29,500

The 4 shares the AmpR Small platform with the Renault 5. It was unveiled in Paris on 14 October 2024 and is built in Maubeuge.

At its Swiss launch Renault priced it at CHF 29,500 to CHF 32,500 (Renault Switzerland, 12 March 2025). That bought a 40 kWh version with 90 kW and up to 308 km, or a 52 kWh version with 110 kW and 409 km WLTP.

It was one of seven finalists for 2026 European Car of the Year and finished seventh with 150 points. The Mercedes CLA won with 320 (9 January 2026).

Subaru Solterra, Flagged As A Swiss Premiere

A windscreen flag on the stand read “Schweizer Premiere”, and a Subaru dealer’s page repeats it. Blick, Automobil Revue and auto-illustrierte list the Uncharted, rather than the Solterra, among Subaru’s Swiss premieres.

Subaru Europe said on 18 July 2025 that the updated Solterra has a 73.1 kWh battery and would reach selected European countries at the end of 2025. Subaru Switzerland lists it from CHF 43,990, the only price we found.

MG Cyberster, 0 To 100 km/h In 3.2 Seconds

The stand sign gave 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, which matches MG’s figure for the all-wheel-drive car with 510 PS (375 kW). Blick reported Swiss prices from CHF 63,990 for the rear-drive version to CHF 67,990 for the all-wheel-drive version when European sales began (20 October 2024).

The Cyberster was not MG’s show premiere for 2025. MG Switzerland billed the IM5 and IM6 as its Swiss premieres.

Trust The Ticket Count, Check The Premieres

The attendance number is the firm one: 68,053 tickets against 64,619 in 2024. The premiere counts are not comparable, with 27 from the organiser and nearly 50 Swiss premieres from Automobil Revue.

That is the weak spot of this show for a visitor. Apart from the Solterra’s own flag, none of our six cars is called a premiere by a source we trust. Treat a premiere flag in Zürich as a question for the stand staff.

Auto Zürich 2025 was the 38th edition by the organiser’s count (Blick says 39th), at Messe Zürich, with public days from 30 October to 2 November 2025 and a Media Day on 29 October. We were there on Media Day and again on 30 and 31 October. Compare it with Auto Zürich 2024 and the Swiss prices from Auto Zürich 2026.
