Auto Zürich 2026 Swiss Prices: What 28 New Cars Cost, From CHF 16,790 To CHF 159,600

Every Swiss price we could find for the show's new cars, with its source, its date and when the car actually arrives. Three of them start at exactly CHF 24,900.

The Hyundai IONIQ 3, photographed at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026. Its Swiss from-price is CHF 29,990 (Automobil Revue).

The cheapest new car we found on Auto Zürich’s novelty list costs CHF 16,790. The dearest costs CHF 159,600. One Range Rover Electric buys nine Dacia Springs, with CHF 8,490 to spare.

Auto Zürich is a sales show, so most visitors want to know what a car costs here. The organiser’s novelty list had 89 entries on 15 October. We found a published Swiss price for 28 of them and none yet for 15 more.

The other 46 are mostly established models from Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari and others, and are not part of this table.

Prices as of 15 October 2026. Swiss prices change, often just before or during a show, so each row gives its source and date. Where several versions exist we show the range of from-prices, exactly as published, in Swiss francs. Options, delivery fees and offers are excluded.

The Price War Is Under CHF 20,000

Five cars start below CHF 20,000, in a band CHF 3,200 wide. They are the Dacia Spring (16,790), the JAC E30X (16,900), the smart #2 (18,300), the Renault Twingo (18,900) and the Geely E2 (19,990). Only CHF 110 separates the Spring and the E30X.

The cheapest car of all is a Dacia, so the budget end belongs to more than the Chinese newcomers. Our buyer’s shortlist picks through every car under CHF 30,000.

Three Cars At Exactly CHF 24,900

Nothing we priced starts between CHF 19,990 and 24,900. Then three cars arrive at once: the Leapmotor B03X, the VW ID. Polo and, just outside the novelty list, the standard CUPRA Raval Prime Edition.

The cars still without a price could fill that CHF 4,910 gap. Automobil Revue puts the Dacia Striker’s base price “well under 30,000 francs”. The organiser’s page promises the Leapmotor B03 an “attractive entry price”.

The Version You Want Sets The Bill

The Geely E5 and the Hyundai IONIQ 3 share a from-price of CHF 29,990. A VW ID. Polo Life (30,300) already costs more than either.

Škoda prices the Epiq First Edition at CHF 40,000, CHF 14,100 above the entry Epiq. That puts it above the cheapest Audi A2 e-tron (37,650), so the from-price alone can mislead a buyer.

Chinese Brands Undercut At The Top, Too

Chinese and Chinese-owned brands fill 13 of the 28 rows, counting Polestar, smart and Volvo as our other posts do. They sit at the top of the table as well as the bottom.

The Zeekr 9X, a 5.24-metre luxury SUV, starts CHF 14,400 below Audi’s new Q9 flagship. Both the smart #2 and the Zeekr 9X reach Swiss roads in 2027. The Chery Tiggo 9 plug-in hybrid and the electric Mazda CX-6e are CHF 10 apart. More in Chinese brands arriving in Switzerland.

The Leapmotor B05 has two prices. Stellantis Switzerland launched it at CHF 25,900 in June, and Emil Frey gives that as the recommended price. The organiser’s novelty page and nau.ch quote CHF 27,900, which the Zünd MobilCenter dealer calls the list price, with the first cars sold at the CHF 25,900 starting price. Ask which one applies when you order.

Left: the Škoda Epiq, from CHF 25,900 in Switzerland. Right: the Dacia Striker Hybrid, which has no Swiss price yet. Both photographed at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026; see our first looks at the Epiq and the Striker.

Still Waiting For A Swiss Price

These cars are on the organiser’s list, but we found no published Swiss price.

  • Leapmotor B03: the organiser’s page promises an “attractive entry price” and calls the show appearance the car’s official Swiss premiere, without a figure (15 Oct 2026).
  • FIAT Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback: no Swiss prices; Swiss market start in early 2027 (Automobil Revue, 3 Jun 2026; our first look).
  • Dacia Striker: “well under 30,000 francs”, says Automobil Revue, with no figure. Switzerland starts at the Expression trim, in early 2027 (8 Jul 2026).
  • Hyundai Tucson (new generation): price and Swiss launch date are open (Automobil Revue, 14 Oct 2026).
  • VW ID. Tiguan: we found no Swiss price on 15 Oct 2026 (our Paris first look).
  • Nissan PIXO: Nissan plans to publish Swiss prices from December; first deliveries are due in early 2027 (Automobil Revue, 23 Sep 2026).
  • Lynk & Co 07 GT: the organiser’s page gives a European market launch in 2027 and no price. We also found no Swiss price for the 02 or the 08.
  • iCAUR V27: the organiser’s page says it is the brand’s first model for Switzerland, in early 2027, with no price.
  • Hyundai STARIA Electric (passenger van): no Swiss price. The CHF 57,725 in Automobil Revue, 8 Oct 2026 is for the three-seat Cargo van.
  • Mercedes-Benz GLA (electric): prices not yet known (Automobil Revue, 29 Jul 2026).
  • CUPRA Raval “CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT”: a styling package with no price. The standard Raval Prime Edition is from CHF 24,900 (Automobil Revue, 16 Jun 2026).
  • Bentley Torcal and Aston Martin Valen: the Automobil Revue articles we read quote no Swiss price. The organiser says the Valen is limited to 150 cars, with first deliveries in Q2 2027.

The JAC E30X at Auto Zürich 2024. The price card beside it reads CHF 22,989. The E30X now on sale is quoted from CHF 16,900, and we have not matched the 2024 car to a current version.

Five Media Day Brands Still Have No Price Here

Media Day is on 4 November, the day before the public halls open at Messe Zürich (5–8 November). Five of the 18 brands on the organiser’s Media Stage list still have a blank in this table.

They are Leapmotor (B03, the only car the organiser’s novelty pages call an official Swiss premiere), FIAT (Grizzly), Lynk & Co (07 GT), Hyundai (new Tucson, STARIA Electric) and Bentley (Torcal). Nissan, which says PIXO prices come in December, is not on the stage list. Our Media Day guide has all 18 brands, and our windscreen-price report covers show offers.

Our take

The real contest at this show sits at the bottom of the table. Twelve of the 28 priced cars start between CHF 16,790 and 29,990. There, Chinese newcomers and European incumbents sometimes share a price to the franc.

The figure to watch on Media Day is the Leapmotor B03’s. It will show whether anyone wants the empty space between CHF 20,000 and 24,900. We will update this page after 4 November.

Prices change. If you spot one that has moved, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
